　　I like summer vacation, do not like to start school.

　　我在一个英语班上课，那里非常有趣，但唯一让我不喜欢的就是单词太多，每次都要背50几个单词，每节课前还要听写。因为我读得不够多，所以老是听不好。妈妈就说，如果我错太多，就不让我向同学借书看了，我只好答应了。

　　转眼已经到了周三，周四又上英语课了，可……我还没背好呢！

　　那天晚上，我做好作业，读了30分english，弹完钢琴后，心中早痒痒了，好想去体育馆，和同学玩儿啊！但是，我英语单词还没读呢，如果我读英语，就无法出门了，晚上9点，还要睡觉呢。如果我出去玩了，那么……明天听写就听不好了，我的书，也看不了了。书是我的.心肝儿啊，没了书，就像没了命一样！

　　我只好在读和不读中排徊，心中既矛盾，又难受，真不能狠下心选一个呀，好想两个都选。但是“鱼和熊掌——不可兼得”，事实，摆在眼前。过了好一会儿，我想到，如果我再犹豫不决下去，没时间了，那两件事都办不了了。于是，我选择了读英语。因为这次听写过了，就挽救不回来了，而周日仍可以去体育馆了，还是选只能做一次的好了……

　　事实证明，我的选择没错，我如愿以偿地借到了书，我感到非常开心，有付出，就有收获。
